Fort Wayne, IN-- The Komets overpowered the visiting Allen Americans 5-3 Saturday night in front of a sell-out crowd of 10,479 at the Memorial Coliseum.
After spotting the Americans with two goals the Komets rallied with five unanswered markers and finished with the victory to the delight of the second sell-out crowd of the season.
Marco Roy had a pair of goals including the game winner. Shawn Szydlowski, Cody Sol and Garrett Thompson also found the back of the net. Michael Houser started his fourth straight game for the Komets and collected his third straight win making 30 saves on 33 shots.
The Komets will face the Americans again today at 5pm on Sweetwater Ice at the Memorial Coliseum. Still plenty of good seats remain on sale at the Coliseum ticket office.
