Contest Rules and Regulations: 

Each fireball will be hidden one at a time. As stated in the initial social media post, be sure to enable notifications on the social platforms of Facebook, X, and Instagram to be notified about new “drops”. Fireballs can be hidden on any day of the week and at any time. 

Clues about where the fireball is hidden will be given by using photos, video, and/or text clues. The fireballs will be hidden within the limits of Allen County and will not be hidden at locations that require admission fees.

The first participant to find the fireball will claim the $75 Komets gift card that can be used online at shop.komets.com or in person at the Komets Shop at 1010 Memorial Way. There will be instructions on the back of each fireball to claim and activate the attached gift card. 

Once Komets admin is notified of a fireball being found, the text in the post will be updated on each social media platform to inform participants that the fireball has been found and claimed. 

It is requested that participants are limited to claiming one (1) fireball for the duration of the promotion.

Fireball #3: Hidden on 8/15/26 @ 1pm - FOUND at Eagle Marsh near the Towpath Trailhead

Hint given: Where wings soar and wetlands meet, Icy knows a favorite retreat. Seek the place where eagles roam, Your fiery prize may have found a home

Fireball #2: Hidden on 8/10/26 @ 1pm - FOUND at PFW campus by the mastodon statue outside of Walb Student Union

Hint given: Not hockey ice. Think… the Ice Age. 🏒🧊
