Lionel Repka

Over an 11-year career, Repka established almost every Komets offensive record for defensemen. Nicknamed “Choo Choo,” he was part of the 1963 and 1965 Turner Cup championship teams, earning all-IHL honors in 1960, 1964, and 1965 and winning the Governor's Trophy as the league's top defenseman in 1965. Repka retired in 1969 after playing a combined 740 regular-season and playoff games, scoring 98 goals, 437 assists, and 535 points. He also played in three IHL All-Star Games, and he still ranks fifth all-time in career games played, fifth in assists, 13th in points, and 20th in penalty minutes.
