Solar Bears visit tonight for Kids Seat Free Night

Fort Wayne, IN-- The Komets stopped the Wings at Kalamazoo 4-1 yesterday. The game had a rare 5pm faceoff at Wings Stadium in celebration of Black Friday. After Kalamazoo's Justin Taylor finished a two-on-one break with a one-timer past Komet goaltender Eric Levine at 13:02 of the first period, it was all Komets to the finish of the game and hand the Wings their sixth straight loss. Fort Wayne scored four unanswered tallies by Eric Faille, Shawn Szydlowski, Garrett Meurs and Nathan Condon by the end of the third stanza to take the win and improve to 13-4-0 and an ECHL leading 26 points after 17 games. Kalamazoo fell to 6-7-2. Komet netminder Levine earned the win in his first ECHL start making 20 saves while Wing goaltender Oscar Dansk suffered the loss stopping 43 of 46 shots.
