Fort Wayne, IN-- The Komets shut out the visiting Kalamazoo K-Wings 3-0 Friday at the Memorial Coliseum in the only game of week 21 and improved to 37-12-6 and 80 points. Komet goaltender Roman Will recorded his first professional shutout in is fourth straight start and 20th appearance stopping all 34 shots faced. Brett Perlini posted his multi-point game of the year scoring the first two goals of the game. Matthew Pistilli also hit the net for his 18th goal of the year. The Komets have won the last two meetings with the Wings and improved to 8-4-0 against Kalamazoo after 12 meetings. The last time Fort Wayne was beaten in regulation was Feb. 11 at Florida.The Komets enter week 22 leading the ECHL North Division and tied for the top spot in the Eastern Conference after 55 games with Florida and Reading.Saturday's game at Kalamazoo rescheduled for Wednesday-- The Komets were scheduled to skate at Kalamazoo Saturday night but the game was postponed due to poor ice conditions. The game will be made up this Wednesday night at Wings Stadium at 7:00. Fans that had tickets for the game Saturday can use them for Wednesday's game. If a ticket holder for Saturday's game can't use the ticket for the make-up game Wednesday, they can redeem it for any remaining K-Wings home game. Exchanges can be made at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. For information call 269-226-0384.THIS WEEK, four games in five nights•Wednesday, Komets at Kalamazoo, 7pm-- The Komets will travel to Kalamazoo (27-24-5, 59 points) Wednesday to make up Saturday's postponed game. The Komets have won the last two meetings including Friday night's 3-0 shutout at the Coliseum and lead the season series 8-4-0, 4-2-0 at Kalamazoo. The Wings are battling for playoff position, leading fourth-place Cincinnati by a point in the North Division with Indy three points behind. Kalamazoo stopped the Fuel Sunday at Wings Stadium in their last time out 5-3 and are 3-1-0 in their last four games and 4-5-0 in their last nine.•Friday, Toledo at Fort Wayne, 8pm-- Friday the Komets return home to host the Toledo Walleye (36-13-5, 77 points) at 8pm. The Komets suffered a 3-2 home shootout loss in the last meeting Feb. 18 and are 2-2-2 after six meetings. Friday's match will complete the season series. Toledo trails the Komets by three points in the race to the top of the North Division. The Walleye are 3-3-0 in their last six outings and will host Orlando Wednesday before traveling to Fort Wayne Friday.

•Saturday, Komets at Cincinnati, 7:35pm-- Saturday the Komets travel to Cincinnati (26-23-6, 58 points) for a 7:35pm contest at U.S. Bank Arena (6,955). It will be the first meeting since Dec. 5 when the Komets scored a 3-2 shootout victory at Cincy. The Komets are undefeated after two meetings with the Cyclones and five meetings remain.

•Sunday, Cincinnati at Fort Wayne, 5pm-- Sunday the Cyclones follow the Komets back to Fort Wayne for the back end of a home-and-home weekend series at 5pm. It will be the first of three Cincinnati visits this season. The Cyclones are 5-3-2 in their last 10 games. Cincy begins the week at Orlando Monday. Monday's game completes a four-game visit to the Sunshine State for games against Florida and Orlando. The Cyclones host Orlando Friday and welcome the Komets Saturday before heading for Fort Wayne Sunday.Komet leaders-- Mike Embach leads with 35 assists and 55 points.....Shawn Szydlowski leads with 25 goals.....Drew Daniels leads the ECHL with +36.....Cody Sol leads with 101 penalty minutes.

Komet streaks-- The Komets pushed their point streak to nine games (6-0-3) with Friday's home win. The longest point streak of the season was 11 games (10-0-1) set Nov. 27 through Dec. 21.....Drew Daniels has a four-game assist streak (5a) and points in five of six games (6a).Clarke hits 200-- Aaron Clarke celebrated his season debut scoring his 200th pro assist in his return to the Komet lineup. Clarke scored seven goals and 17 points in the last 15 games of the season last year and added another three goals and seven points in 11 playoff games.Hitting stride-- The Komets have reached 80 points in 55 games, matching the pace of the 2007-08 Komets. The 1959-60 Komets were the quickest to reach 80 points in the club's 63-year history, doing it at 53 games.March dozen-- Another dozen games dot the calendar for March. The Komets, off to a good start for the Month with Friday's home shutout win, have 11 games remaining for the month including four at home and seven on the road. The Komets will complete 2014-15 with six games in April, four at home and a pair on the road.

Komets at the Tilted Kilt Tuesday-- Komet players including Kaleigh Schrock, Mike Embach, Cody Sol and Ian Barteaux will be appearing at the Tilted Kilt in Jefferson Pointe Tuesday from 6:30pm-8pm. Fans are invited to take photos and get autographs while watching previous Komet games at the Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery.

Friday night Marathon Nights-- Fans can earn a buy-one-get-one-free ticket offer with the purchase of three fill-ups at any participating Marathon location. Save with your Marathon Fill-Up Card this Friday when the Komets host the Toledo Walleye.KIDS SEAT FREE Sunday-- The Komets will host Cincinnati on another Kids Seat Free Night, courtesy Aunt Millie's, Parkview Health and the Komets on Sunday at 5pm. Any child under the age of 12 can see the game for free with a full-priced adult ticket purchase. Bring your skates-- Also, fans are invited to bring their skates for a free postgame skate courtesy Wendy's.
