Fort Wayne, IN-- The Komets stunned the Wings at Kalamazoo Wednesday night 3-1 to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven ECHL North Division semifinals series.Matthew Pistilli scored a pair of goals and added an assist for a three-point night. Garrett Meurs contributed with his second straight game winner. Goaltender Roman Will earned his third straight playoff win in his third straight start stopping 31 of 32 shots.The series continues at Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo with game 4 Friday at 7:30pm and if needed, game 5 will faceoff Saturday at 7:30pm. If necessary, series games 6 and 7, will be held in Fort Wayne at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.Special driving note-- To all fans driving to Kalamazoo for games this week, you may have to find alternate routes to the Wings Event Center due to the closure of the Sprinkle Road exit (exit 80) on I-94. The Wings Event Center has announced several ways for guests to arrive to the complex.
