Fort Wayne, IN-- The Komets stopped the visiting Toledo Walleye Tuesday night 3-2 in overtime to cut Toledo's series lead in half at 2-1. Game 4 of the second round best-of-seven series will face off in Fort Wayne Thursday at 7:30pm.Martin Frk opened the scoring at 4:13 of the first period to give the Walleye a 1-0 lead. The Komets returned the favor when Matthew Heard evened the score with the only tally of the second period at 9:35.Frk netted his second of the game at 13:23 to give Toledo a short-lived 2-1 lead before Paul Crowder knotted the score at 2-2 with 27 seconds remaining in the third and Fort Wayne goaltender Pat Nagle pulled for the extra attacker on the ice.To the pleasure of 4,692 Fort Wayne faithful Mike Embach scored the game winner at 6:09 of the extra frame with assists from Kaleigh Schrock and Mikael Tam to give the Komets their first win of the series.
