Fort Wayne, IN-- The Komets rallied from a 1-0 deficit Thursday night at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne to take the fourth game of the second round best-of-seven series 2-1 in overtime in front of 4,987.After a scoreless first period, Toledo's Troy Schwab opened the scoring with his sixth goal of the post season at 4:29 of the second stanza. The Komets answered when Mike Embach netted his third of the playoffs at 8:45 to send the game into the second intermission knotted at 2-2.
Each team had eight shots in the third period with no scoring, sending the game into overtime for the second straight game. It only took James Martin 5:33 of the extra frame to hit the net with a high shot from the point after Mitchell Heard won the faceoff to earn an assist and send the series back to Toledo even at 2-2. It was Martin's first pro playoff goal.Goaltender Pat Nagle collected his second consecutive win in as many starts for the Komets making 29 saves on 30 shots. Walleye goalie Jeff Lerg suffered the loss allowing two goals on 38 shots.-Gamesheet-Game 5 is scheduled for Saturday night at 7:35 at the Huntington Center in Toledo.
