Fort Wayne, IN-- Wednesday night, May 13, the Komets' 2014-15 season concluded as the Walleye defeated Fort Wayne 5-2 at the Huntington Center in Toledo. The Walleye eliminated the Komets 4-3 in the second-round series and advances to face the South Carolina Stingrays in the ECHL Eastern Conference Finals.

The Komets completed the 2014-15 regular season with a 48-18-6 record and 102 points. It marked the 16th time Fort Wayne has reached the 100-point plateau in a regular season in 63 years. The Komets started the 2015 post-season with a 4-1 series win against Kalamazoo and advanced to the second round against Toledo. It took all seven games of the series for the Walleye to oust Fort Wayne and put a cap on the Komets' third ECHL campaign and 63rd season of hockey in Fort Wayne.
