Las Vegas, NV— The ECHL presented Fort Wayne’s Chuck Bailey the Media Relations Director award for 2014-15 Thursday at the league meetings in Las Vegas.After completing a 23-year career in radio broadcasting, Bailey became the Komets’ Director of Communications in 1993 and has served the Komets for 22 years including the past three seasons as a member of the ECHL.“It is truly a great honor to receive recognition from your peers with an award like this,” Bailey said. “I am very lucky to work for such a storied team and in a great hockey town such as Fort Wayne.”The Award of Excellence for media relations is determined in a vote of league media members, media relations directors and broadcasters.
