Komets games to air on MyTV Fort Wayne

Fort Wayne, IN-- The Fort Wayne Komets and MyTV Fort Wayne announced Tuesday that live telecasts of select Komet road games will continue for the third consecutive season when the puck drops on 2015-16. 12 Komet road games have been selected to be broadcast on the station's Fort Wayne digital and cable channels .“We’re thrilled to once again partner with MyTV to offer fans in Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio opportunities to follow the Komets on the road," Komets Executive VP Scott Sproat said. "This schedule of games on MyTV along withimproved broadcast quality offered through the ECHL’s partnership with NeuLion Broadcasting will provide fans with yet another opportunity to stay connected to the team when they’re away from the Jungle. This is a logical extension of the partnership with 21Alive and NBC 33 that has resulted in Monday night’s ‘SoundOff With the Komets’ fan call-in show and their fantastic coverage of Fort Wayne sports. Sound Off With the Komets will be telecast live from SportONE/Parkview Icehouse, located on Fort Wayne's north side at 3869 Ice Way, each Monday night at 7:30 throughout the year.The MyTV Komet Hockey broadcast schedule begins with the Komets' season opener at Kalamazoo Friday, Oct. 16 at 7:30pm and concludes with the Komets' final road game of the year at Indy Friday, April 8 at 7:30pm.
