PRINCETON, N.J. - Fort Wayne Komets defensemen Drew Daniels and Jordon Southorn and Orlando Solar Bears defenseman Eri Baier are the AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performers of the Month for October after sharing the league lead with a plus-minus rating of +7.
Daniels and Southorn were both even or better in five of the Komets’ six games in October with Daniels posting a +3 on Oct. 24 against Indy and Southorn notching a +3 on Oct. 16 at Kalamazoo. Baier posted an even or better rating in five of the Solar Bears’ games during the month and was a +3 on Oct. 22 against Norfolk.
Daniels, who last season shared the AMI Graphics Plus Performer of the Year Award with a +46 rating, has 58 points (6g-52a) in 135 career ECHL games with Fort Wayne, Utah and Cincinnati.
Southorn has recorded 113 points (37g-76a) in 219 career ECHL games with Fort Wayne, Gwinnett, Elmira, Trenton and Wheeling while adding 11 points (2g-9a) in 29 career American Hockey League games with Providence and Portland.
Baier has 81 points (26g-55a) in 229 career ECHL games with Orlando, Trenton and Reading and he has tallied five points (2g-3a) in 44 career AHL games with Portland, Albany, Rockford, Providence and Charlotte.
