Fort Wayne, IN-- The Komets hope to make it a clean sweep of a Military Appreciation Weekend at the Memorial Coliseum tonight when the Wings visit from Kalamazoo for a 7:30pm faceoff.
Last night the Komets dismissed the Toledo Walleye 4-1 in the first of a two-game home stand. Four different skaters scored for the Komets including Mike Embach, Drew Daniels, Garrett Thompson and Brock Montgomery as the Komets snapped a brief two-game winless skid. The Komets and Wings head for Kalamazoo after tonight's game for a 4pm matinee at Wings Event Center Sunday. Last night the Wings clipped the Nailers at Wheeling 4-3 to extend their unbeaten streak to four games (3-0-1).
