Fort Wayne, IN-- The Komets suffered their first overtime loss Friday night to the visiting Indy Fuel 3-2 in front of the ECHL's largest crowd of the night. 7,510 fans were on hand for the Komets' first ever Star Wars Night.

Nikita Kashirsky opened the scoring at 10:29 of the first period before Indy's Cody Sharib scored the equalizer at 16:03 to send the game into the first intermission knotted at 1-1.

The Fuel took the lead at 9:53 of the second when leading scorer Alex Lavoie netted his seventh marker of the season. The Komets rallied at 12:36 as Will Weber notched his first goal and point of the year to tie the game at 2-2.

There was no scoring in the third period, forcing Fort Wayne's fourth overtime game of the year. Indy's Dylan Clarke beat Komet netminder Pat Nagle on the glove side at 2:16 to give Indy their first win in 10 games. Fort Wayne, however, remains unbeaten in regulation three straight games (2-0-1) and is 3-1 after four games needing extra time.-Gamesheet--ECHL Video Highlights-

The Komets will play the back-end of the home-and-home series tonight at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis at 7:35. It will be last road game for the Komets for the month. Sunday the Komets will host the Evansville IceMen at 5pm to complete the busy weekend.After Sunday's home tilt against the IceMen, the Komets will skate six home games in 14 days during the holiday period starting next Friday, Dec. 18 when the Manchester Monarchs make their Fort Wayne debut.-Schedule-

Wendy's Family Night Sunday-- The Komets present Wendy's Family Night this Sunday when Evansville visits at 5pm and at every Sunday home game this season.
