Fort Wayne, IN-- The Komets are in the middle of a stretch of four-games in five nights and are unbeaten in five straight games (4-0-1) after burning the Fuel from Indy New Year's eve 7-0 in front of the largest crowd of the year of 9,497 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.Mike Embach had a five-point night (1g, 4a) while Jordon Southorn (3a) and Garrett Meurs (2g, 1a) each had three-point affairs. Goaltender Pat Nagle snagged his second shutout of the season stopping 37 shots, the most saves by a Komet goaltender in a game this season. It was the second time this year the Komets have netted seven goals in a game. The first was a 7-5 win at Evansville Dec. 4.-Gamesheet--ECHL TV highlights-

The Komets head into Indy tonight leading the series 4-1-1 with five meetings remaining. After tonight the Komets will cap the busy week with a trip to Toledo Saturday for a 7:15pm faceoff at the Huntington Center.Next week the Komets will be idle until they travel to Quad City for a pair of games Friday, Jan. 8 and Sunday, Jan. 10.

The next Komet home game will be Friday, Jan. 15 at 8pm when the Orlando Solar Bears visit for the only meeting of the season.

Komets on the air-- Komet games are scheduled to be aired on WOWO AM 1190, FM 92.3 and FM 107.5 with Bob Chase calling the action radio-rinkside in his 63rd consecutive season. All Komet radio broadcasts can also be heard worldwide as presented by Omni Source Radio Recycle at www.komets.com. Tonight Shane Albahrani will be substituting for Bob when the Komets skate at Indy.
