Fort Wayne, IN -- The Komets announced today that defenseman Cory Corbett and goaltender Spencer Martin have been reassigned from the AHL's San Antonio Rampage to Fort Wayne.

Corbett, 22, will be on his third assignment of the season to Fort Wayne. The defenseman made his pro debut last season appearing in 47 games (3g, 3a) with San Antonio. Corbett made his ECHL debut with the Komets this season on opening night Oct. 16 at Kalamazoo and has scored five goals and 12 points in 19 games while scoring a goal and five points in 17 games this season with San Antonio through games of Feb. 14.

Martin, 20, is also logging his third assignment of the year to the Komets. The goaltender fashioned a 3-0 shutout win Oct. 23 with the Komets in his pro debut and has started a total of 10 games going 6-4-0 with a 3.00 goals-against average and .887 save percentage. Martin has registered a 3.40 goals-against average, .902 save percentage and 3-7-2 record in 13 AHL games with the Rampage this season through games of Feb. 14.

Both players are expected to be in the lineup this weekend when the Komets skate three games in three nights. The Komets host Toledo Friday at 8pm in the first of a home-and-home series against the Walleye. The Komets skate a 7:15pm Saturday night at Toledo. Sunday the Komets are home for a 5pm contest against the Colorado Eagles.

Any child under the age of 12 can see the game for free with a full-priced adult ticket purchase.Wendy's Family Night Sunday-- The Komets present Wendy's Family Night at every Sunday home game this season. Coupons for a Sundays 4-for-$32 ticket offer are available at Wendy's locations around the Fort Wayne area. Also, fans can bring their skates for a free open skate after each Sunday Family Night home game.
