Fort Wayne, IN-- The Komets held their annual End-of-Season Party and Charity Jersey Auction Thursday at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Conference Center in Fort Wayne. The highest bid of the night was for Shawn Szydlowski’s #19 jersey at $2,100.Ranking second was a bid of $1,500 for forward Trevor Cheek’s #39 jersey while a third-highest bid of $1,350 was collected for Kyle Thomas’ 24.In addition, a 2015-16 scrapbook kept by Komet fan Tina Mohr attracted a bid of $650 which will be donated specifically to juvenile diabetes.Komet game jerseys and the scrapbook combined for a total amount of $22,900 raised.
