The Komets announced on Tuesday that defenseman Frank Schumacher has agreed to terms and has been added to the roster.
Schumacher, 23, participated in the Komets' training camp and had an assist in a 5-2 preseason win at Indy Oct. 8 before starting the season in the SPHL where he skated stints with Knoxville and Evansville.The Brighton, Michigan native is appearing in his third pro season. Last year Schumacher made his ECHL debut skating 10 games with the Evansville Icemen while also logging 29 games in the FHL with Danville.-Roster-
This weekend the Komets are home to host the Kalamazoo Wings Thanksgiving night at 7:30. Friday the Komets travel to Toledo for a 7:15pm faceoff at the Huntington Center and Saturday the Komets return home to welcome the Quad City Mallards at 7:30pm.
