Forward Marco Roy gets call from AHL

The Komets announced Friday that forward Marco Roy has been loaned to the Chicago Wolves of the AHL.

Roy has scored five goals and 12 points in 13 games this season with Fort Wayne. 

This is the first call-up of the season for the Boisbriand, Quebec native.  Roy, 24, has appeared in AHL stints with Bakersfield, Utica, San Jose and Utic amassing 11 goals, 17 assists and 28 points in 78 games since his pro debut in 2015-16.

The Komets will skate three games in three nights this weekend starting tonight at Wheeling at 7:05pm.  The Komets return home to host the Indy Fuel Saturday at 7:30pm and the Tulsa Oilers Sunday at 5pm.

This Friday and Saturday's games will air on WOWO AM 1190 and FM 107.5.  Sunday's game will be broadcast on ESPN WKJG radio AM 1380 and FM 100.9 with Shane Albahrani calling the play-by-play.
