Forward Marco Roy returns to Komet lineup

Forward Marco Roy returns to Komet lineup

The Komets announced on Saturday that forward Marco Roy has been released from his PTO with the AHL's Chicago Wolves and has rejoined the Komets.

Roy has been added to the Komet roster and is expected to be in the lineup tonight when the Komets host the Indy Fuel at 7:30pm.  Roy was with Chicago for his second stint of the season and appeared in an additional eight games.  After 12 games with the Wolves this season, the forward has scored a goal and an assist for two points and added two penalty minutes.

The Boisbriand, Quebec native started the season with the Komets and has totaled five goals and 12 points in 13 games to date.

Also, the Komets announced that forward Jordan Sims has been placed on 21-day injured reserve effective Jan. 1, 2019.

The Komets will complete a stretch of three games in three nights tonight when they host Indy at the Memorial Coliseum.  Thursday the Komets upended the Fuel 4-1 at Indy before clipping the Cyclones in Cincinnati 2-1 Friday night for a three-game road win string.

Kids Seat Free Night Saturday--  Once again this season the Komets will feature Kids Seat Free Nights.  A Kids Seat Free Night is scheduled for tonight when the Indy Fuel visits courtesy Aunt Millie's, Lutheran Health Network and the Komets. Komet Hockey on WOWO-- Fans can follow Komet hockey action again this year with Shane Albahrani calling the play-by-play on WOWO Radio AM 1190 and FM 107.5 and streaming on the web at Komets.com courtesy OmniSource. The Komets coverage tonight will begin on ESPN Radio AM 1380 and 100.9 and will switch to WOWO Radio AM 1190 and FM 107.5 immediately following the Indianapolis Colts game.
