Fort Wayne, IN -- The Komets announced Tuesday that goaltender Zachary Fucale has been reassigned by the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights to Fort Wayne.
Fucale (foo-KAHL-ee) has been on call-up to the AHL's Chicago Wolves since Jan. 9 where he was 1-2-0 in four games with a 2.04 goals-against average and .924 save percentage. Prior to his most recent assignment to Chicago, the Laval, Quebec native amassed a 10-5-1 record, 2.81 goals-against average and .903 save percentage in 17 Fort Wayne appearances. Fucale also was named the ECHL Goaltender of the Week for the week of Dec. 31-Jan. 6.
Fucale is in his fourth pro season since making his pro debut in the AHL with St. John's in 2015-16.Â
