The Komets announced Tuesday that goaltender Zach Fucale and forward Brady Shaw have returned to the Fort Wayne roster.
Fucale was reassigned to Chicago of the AHL after making 29 saves on 30 shots for his third straight win Saturday night 4-1 over the Toledo Walleye in Fort Wayne. Fucale served as back-up goaltender for the Wolves Sunday. In 28 appearances this season with the Komets the netminder has a record of 16-7-3, a 3.26 goals-against average and .887 save percentage.
Shaw was loaned to Chicago March 7th and appeared in two games. The Ottawa, Ontario native has scored eight goals and 25 points with the Komets in 31 games. Shaw started the season with Orlando and scored 13 goals and 25 points in 23 games prior to joining Fort Wayne. He leads the Komets with a total of 50 points (21g, 29a) overall on the season.
The week ahead-- The Komets hit the road this week as they travel to Cincinnati for a 7:35pm faceoff Wednesday before skating back-to-back afternoon games at Brampton Saturday at 4:00 and Sunday at 2:00.
