Fort Wayne, IN-- The Komets fell 4-1 to the Toledo Walleye Tuesday night in Fort Wayne and were eliminated from the ECHL best-of-seven Central Division semifinals 4-2.
Toledo's Shane Berschbach opened the scoring at 18:41 of the first period to give the Walleye a 1-0 lead going into the first intermission. The Komets rebounded in the second at 10:38 when Brady Shaw connected with his third tally of the playoffs to knot the game at 1-1.
The Walleye snagged a 2-1 lead at when Dylan Sadowy beat Fort Wayne goaltender Zach Fucale at 3:57. Sadowy went on to score two additional unanswered goals, including an empty netter, for a hat trick and to seal the victory and the series for Toledo.
Fucale suffered the loss making 41 saves on 44 shots. Pat Nagle earned the win for Toledo on 23 saves.

End of Season Party and Jersey Auction-- The Komets will present their 29th annual End of Season Party and Charity Jersey Auction this Thursday night in the Appleseed Room at the Memorial Coliseum. The doors open at 6:30 and the auction begins at 7:00.
There will be refreshments available including chips, pretzels, dip and hot dogs.
Admission is $5.00. However, season ticket holders and kids under 12 will be admitted for free.
