The Komets announced today that they have dealt defenseman Alex Kuqali to the Orlando Solar Bears to complete a trade made earlier this season for forward Brady Shaw on Dec. 18.
Kuqali scored six assists, seven points and plus-six in 36 games since joining Fort Wayne at the start of the season.
The Komets are idle this week until they host the Rapid City Rush Saturday at 7:30pm.
